In 2003, Stephen and his partners launched FUSE Marketing Group – a advertising agency focused on delivering innovative solutions that drive sales and deliver results. He is active within the marketing industry as well. He has been involved with the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) for several years taking on the role of Chair of the Board of Directors in 2015.

He is currently on the board of Casey House – Canada’s leading HIV/AIDS hospital… focusing on fundraising and branding initiatives.

She is the Founder of The Beacon Agency, a global advisor firm, and the Creator and Host of Fearless Women Podcast. Ms. McDonald co-authored two national studies on women entrepreneurs in 2016 and 2018, with the third underway, focusing on export. She is a committed mentor with WXN, WCT, Futurpreneur, and EY’s WABN global program for elite athletes.

Ms. McDonald has won numerous awards including Inspiring Fifty Award for Women in Tech in 2018, Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Hall of Fame Winner in 2016, World of Difference 100 Award in Washington TIAW and WCT’s Chairs Award of Distinction in 2016. Ms. McDonald was also the first Canadian to receive the WIT-LA Award Global Trade Ambassador in 2017. Her career achievements include driving financial turnaround and re-branding Women in Communications and Technology as Board Chair from 2013-2015. She sits on numerous boards throughout Canada and has spoken at many events nationally and internationally.

Her TEDx talk and research focus on social media’s impact on mental health – the results of which she recently presented at the World Youth Forum in Egypt.

Gillian is an integral member of Postmedia’s executive management team in her role as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She is responsible for Postmedia’s legal and regulatory affairs and corporate governance as well as employee relations and HR policies. Gillian also acts as primary advisory to the President and CEO, Board and business with respect to all major transactions and works closely with the rest of the executive team with inputs into the development and implementation of overall corporate strategy.

She currently serves as a Director on the board of Hydrocephalus Canada. Prior to joining the company, Gillian was an Associate at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (now Dentons Canada LLP) and worked within the Business Law Group with a focus on private mergers and acquisitions, technology and software licensing, and general corporate commercial work. Gillian received a joint Bachelor of Laws (LLB)/MBA from Osgoode Hall Law School/Schulich School of Business (York University).

Gillian’s excellence in leadership and management was recognized through her nomination in the Mid-Market Excellence category as part of the 2017 Canadian General Counsel Awards.
