What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Responsible for execution of all professional development & learning programs across designated cities in Canada and Ireland.
  • Create and maintain program calendar and work closely with business unit leaders from Marketing and Business Development to ensure collaboration on cross-divisional efforts as well as timely flow of information.
  • Engagement of prospective program participants, mentors, protégées, with an emphasis on regular and timely communications with all program stakeholders.
  • Day to day management of program partners to keep them informed about the program.
  • Recruit facilitators for all programs and manage contracts to ensure fulfillment obligations are met.
  • Ongoing engagement of program facilitators including quarterly conference calls.
  • Troubleshoot challenges to ensure a superior client experience which exceeds expectations and engages the stakeholder community.
  • Review and update curriculum content annually to ensure relevancy and quality, working with Director of Marketing & Communications and CEO as required.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure website is up-to-date for all programs, including proper partnership branding, program schedules, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop marketing materials for all Professional Development & Learning programs.
  • Ensure KPIs and targets are met for all Professional Development & Learning programs enlisting support from Business Development and Marketing as required.
  • Collect participant feedback and collaborate with marketing to compile data to be used for continuous improvement and provide input into best practices for the Professional Development & Learning programs SOPs.
  • Work with the Director of Strategy to create annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the Director of Strategy with special projects as required.
  • Flexibility in hours of work is required in order to meet business needs.

This could be the job for you if you have:

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum and course design, and facilitations skills an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and practices, and program planning, to recommend delivery strategies and to provide accurate schedules.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with a diverse range of senior-level contacts in a positive, professional and tactful manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in judgement, problem solving and program troubleshooting with the capacity to identify and respond quickly to challenges and priorities and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Bilingual; that is certainly an asset.

To be considered for this job you’ll need a university degree in a related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience, and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in executing professional development, training and/or learning programs is an asset.
